The fourth module of the Professional Development Programme for Academic Managers has been completed
The team at Chernihiv Polytechnic National University has successfully completed the fourth module of the Professional Development Programme for Academic Managers, an initiative implemented by the British Council as part of a joint project between the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the World Bank – Ukraine Improving Higher Education for Results Project (UIHERP).
Module 4 – Finance, Projects, Resources – provided an opportunity to delve into the financial side of universities and projects.
During the week, participants worked on key topics such as:
- trends in higher education;
- international projects and grants;
- the work of project offices;
- commercialisation of science;
- partnerships with business;
- risk management and crisis management;
- digitalisation of financial management.
The training was conducted in an extremely friendly atmosphere with a noticeable interest in cooperation. Active interaction between universities, exchange of experience and a shared vision of education development will undoubtedly create a solid foundation for new partnership initiatives and professional growth.
