On October 1, 2021, the Department of Information Activities and Public Communications of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration hosted the fourth meeting of the Regional Commission for Rehabilitation in the Chernihiv region. The regional commission chaired by Olena Gerasimenko, associate professor of the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences, conducted a preliminary review of the circumstances related to the repression against five people: V.P. Kobtsya, GA Kovalenko, PM Medvedya, KG Moskalenko, L. H. Sartison.

Based on the results of the review, a decision was made to submit to the National Commission for Rehabilitation substantiated proposals on the possibility of recognizing (refusing to recognize) persons rehabilitated or victims of repression.
