Student of philology (035 Philology) – bronze medalist of the Ukrainian Championship in Kyokushin karate!
On February 21-22, the Ukrainian Youth Championship 2005-2007 and the Open All-Ukrainian Tournament among juniors 2007-2008 in Kyokushin karate took place in Lviv.
361 athletes from 12 regions of Ukraine took part in the competitions, competing for the right to join the Ukrainian national team for the European Championships.
We proudly announce that Agata Katkova, a student 035 Philology program, won the bronze medal in the youth category up to 65 kg!
This result is a vivid example that philology and sports are a perfect combination. A true master of words knows how to not only express thoughts accurately but also defend them on the tatami!
