On 25 June 2024, a memorandum on the establishment of the Polissia Nature Conservation Cluster was signed.

The cluster consists of 14 partners: 9 objects of the nature reserve fund and 5 environmentally oriented educational institutions, including the National University of Chernihiv Polytechnic. This partnership is aimed at improving the ecological condition of protected areas, implementing effective methods of natural resource management, and sharing experience in the field of nature protection.

The agreement envisages joint efforts to conserve biodiversity, develop and implement projects to restore natural complexes, and create training and professional development programmes for specialists working in the field of environmental protection. This is an important step towards nature conservation and the development of environmental science in Ukraine.
