On 11 April 2025, the Foundation ‘Entrepreneurs for Peace’, represented by its director Laura Skrodele, and the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, represented by its rector Oleh Novomlynets, signed an agreement on the overhaul of the educational building.

The subject of the agreement is the overhaul of the heating system, roof and classrooms of the university’s academic building.

The works are financed within the framework of international technical assistance in accordance with the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Latvia on technical and financial cooperation dated 11 January 2024.

The project is aimed at creating comfortable conditions for the educational process and ensuring energy efficiency of the university infrastructure. The repair works are scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2025.
