On May 17, 2024, within the framework of the Science Week, the Department of Welding and Construction Technologies of the National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic” held a scientific seminar “Digital Technologies in Architecture and Construction”. The presentations at the seminar were related to the topic of The BRIDGE project “Bridging the gap between university and industry: an innovative master’s degree program supporting the development of green jobs and digital skills in the Ukrainian construction sector” (№ 101127884-ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE-STRAND-2).

Higher education applicants and teachers of the department presented their work in the field of construction, architecture and mechanical engineering, in particular on the following topics:

• modern technical and technological capabilities of photogrammetry in 3D scanning of buildings and structures;
• · modelling of parametric objects and their use in modern architecture and design;
• · information and calculation systems for mechanical engineering objects;
• · information technologies and systems in materials science;
• · technologies of information modelling of construction objects (BIM) in the LIRA-SAPR software package;
• · digital technologies Allplan in the implementation of architectural and construction projects;
• · software package “Construction Technologies: Estimates”;
• · modelling with the use of CNC technologies;
• · development and manufacture of equipment for the department’s laboratories using additive 3D printing technologies, etc.
