On 6 December 2025, the SAMMIT of Progressive Educators was held at the Ukrainian House National Centre in Kyiv, attended by representatives of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University – the initiators of the creation of the “Island of Progress” at the university: Associate Professors of the Department of Law Enforcement and General Legal Disciplines Olena KOZYNETS and Alla NITCHENKO, as well as Professor of the Department of Economics, Accounting and Taxation Olena AKIMENKO, members of the “Progressive” NGO.

The summit brought together progressive, creative educators from various levels, from preschool to higher education. It is a platform for everyone who is creating qualitative changes in Ukrainian education and moving it forward.

The participants discussed the key challenges and opportunities of modern education:

• · the introduction of innovative approaches;
• · decent pay for teachers;
• · development and preservation of human potential;
• · creation of an accessible educational environment;
• · support for each person in their educational trajectory.

Discussions on the formation of modern educational practices and the role of progressive communities in the transformation of education were particularly valuable.

We sincerely thank the “Progressive” team for their professionalism, inspiration, and the space where new ideas are born.

Participation in the Summit provided an opportunity to exchange experiences, establish new partnerships, and bring home impulses for further change.
