On 19 March 2025, a roundtable discussion on “Areas of activity of the Ukrainian Council of Civil Engineers and its role in expanding international cooperation” was held in Kyiv as part of the International Construction Exhibition “InterBuildExpo 2025”.

The event was organised by the founders of the Ukrainian Council of Civil Engineers (UkrCCE), including the Construction Chamber of Ukraine, the Academy of Construction of Ukraine, KNUBA, the Union of Scientific and Engineering Associations of Ukraine and others.

Chernihiv Polytechnic National University was represented by Timur Hanieiev, Head of the Department of Welding and Construction Technologies, and Mykola Korzachenko, Associate Professor of the Department, Secretary of the Chernihiv Territorial Branch of the Academy of Construction of Ukraine.

During the roundtable, they discussed ways to increase the efficiency of participation of construction companies, scientific, design and engineering institutions and educational institutions of Ukraine in international cooperation in order to improve the scientific and technical level of the industry and to involve European colleagues in the restoration of Ukraine.

In addition, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Construction Chamber of Ukraine (President of the CCU, Hero of Ukraine P. Shyliuk) and the Ukrainian Academy of Architecture (President of the UAA, People’s Architect of Ukraine O. Slieptsov).
