On 18 June 2024, a regular meeting of the University Employers’ Council was held in a mixed format at the National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic”. According to the agenda, the following issues were discussed:

• Director of the Centre for Startup and Innovation Development Serhii Bezborodko informed the audience about the topics of the projects submitted to the Startup Way to Success-2024 competition and the possibility of involving employers in the final of the competition;
• Olha Lysenko, Human Resources Specialist at British American Tobacco, shared her experience of implementing dual education on the example of cooperation with the University;
• Liudmyla Remnova, Head of the international Erasmus+ project KA2 PROMENT “Promoting professional education and active participation of students through the establishment of a comprehensive system of mentoring and tutoring in higher education institutions”, presented promising areas of cooperation with employers in the implementation of mentoring programmes….;
• Olena Petryk, Head of the Career Development Centre, informed the audience about the activities of the Employers’ Council’s sectoral sections and presented an analysis of the labour market needs of Chernihiv region in specialists with higher education, which can be provided by university graduates;
• Serhii Tsybulia, Chairman of the Council, informed the audience about its activities in the 2023/2024 academic year.

During the Council’s meeting, representatives of employers actively joined the discussion on various issues.
