PROMENT international workshop to share mentoring experience starts in Uzhhorod
On 17 February, an international workshop PROMENT on sharing experience in piloting mentoring programmes started in Uzhhorod and will last until 20 February. The event was organised by the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University and brought together representatives of leading universities from Ukraine, Georgia and Europe, as well as representatives of business clusters and NGOs.
The main goal of the event is to analyse the results of the first stage of mentoring programmes in higher education institutions of Ukraine and Georgia, share best practices and develop strategies for their further integration. Participants will discuss the key challenges and prospects of these programmes in modern education.
The participants were welcomed by the Rector of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University Oleh Novomlynets, who emphasised the importance of mentoring as an effective tool to support students in their professional and personal development. He emphasised that the implementation of such programmes contributes to strengthening international cooperation, improving the quality of education and shaping future leaders.
The seminar is organised with the support of the Erasmus+ programme, which opens up wide opportunities for the development of educational initiatives and partnerships between universities. The participants will take part in panel discussions, thematic sessions and work on developing further strategies for implementing mentoring programmes in higher education.
