Presentation roundtable “Together We Can” united public leaders to restore communities in Chernihiv region

On March 21, 2025, a regional roundtable was held at the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, dedicated to the presentation of the Empowerment Program for Public Leaders in Ukraine “Together We Can”.

The event brought together representatives of the public sector, education, government, local government, media, internally displaced persons and war veterans, who discussed key aspects of social cohesion and inclusion in the process of restoring the region.

The goal of the roundtable is to strengthen partnerships between activists, government representatives and youth to develop effective cooperation strategies.

During the event, a presentation of pilot projects aimed at developing public leadership and social cohesion was held. The planned initiatives that will be implemented within the project were discussed. Special attention was paid to expanding the capabilities of community leaders and increasing the role of youth in community recovery processes.

In conclusion, the participants agreed on the need to strengthen community leadership and actively involve youth in decision-making processes.

The “Together We Can” program will continue its activities in the region, attracting new participants, supporting initiatives aimed at increasing social cohesion and developing the local community.

This project is implemented in cooperation with the NGO “Human Rights Foundation” and is funded by the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen (IFA) with funds from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany

In Chernihiv region, the project is implemented by the NGO “Center for Gender Education” together with the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University
