On 11 July, a presentation of a unique maker space on wheels — TOLOCAR — took place!

TOLOCAR is a mobile makerspace that brings people together around technology, engineering and creativity. Its main goal is to inspire children and young people, develop STEM education in the region, support local initiatives, and conduct field trips to communities. In the future, TOLOCAR is planned to become a gateway to the world of innovation and collaboration for both students and a wider audience. This is a new step towards popularising modern technologies and career guidance for young people.

NGO “Eco City” and Chernihiv Polytechnic National University have received their TOLOCAR and are ready to visit communities and schools and support local projects. #TOLOCAR is part of the project ‘Effective Public Administration through GovTech and Transparency in Ukraine’, which is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in close cooperation with Ukrainian and international partners.
