Practical training at operating facilities of distribution system operator for students of specialty 141 “Electric Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics”
On March 31, 2026, as part of training in the disciplines “Electrical part of stations and substations”, “High voltage engineering” and “Fundamentals of the Theory of Reliability of Electric Power Systems” students of the EM-231 group (specialty 141 “Electrical power energetics, electrical engineering and electromechanics”) visited several electric power facilities in the city of Chernihiv and the Chernihiv region..
They studied the design features of indoor and outdoor switchgears of Medium Voltage and High Voltage and the equipment installed in them.
The operational personnel of the DSO JSC “Chernigovoblenergo” demonstrated the technology of performing operational switching on existing 110/35/10 kV substation equipment and trained in the features of operating HV, MV and LV equipment.
