The Department of Physical Rehabilitation of our University held a practical lesson on the course “Methods of conducting sports events” for the students of the specialty Physical Rehabilitation. Thanks to the initiative of the teacher of the department Artem Synytsa, a practitioner Diana Sydorenko, who currently lives and works in Spain, a professional with 10 years of experience in conducting sports, recreational and entertainment events, was invited to the class. She is the owner of two children’s studios and a professional who has conducted more than 2000 events.
Diana shared her valuable experience in organising educational events for children with special educational needs, in particular, she spoke about the key aspects of their preparation and implementation. Students had the opportunity to learn about the specifics of such events abroad and how to create an inclusive environment for each child.
Particular attention was paid to the topic of professional burnout, which is relevant for professionals working in the field of physical education, physical rehabilitation and social adaptation. Diana shared practical advice on how to prevent emotional burnout, maintain motivation and balance in professional life.
The meeting with the international professional was a unique opportunity for our students to gain practical knowledge and be inspired by the experience of working in another country. Such events help students to deepen their understanding of their future profession and improve their professional competence.
