The ongoing cooperation between the Department of Physical Rehabilitation of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University and Chernihiv Educational and Rehabilitation Centre №2 continues to bring significant results in creating favourable conditions for the physical development of children with special educational needs.

On 13 January 2025, on the basis of the “Kolyba” restaurant, Artem Synytsia, a teacher of the Department of Physical Rehabilitation, together with Valeria Surzhyk, a graduate of the department, organised a physical culture and entertainment event for children. The programme included interactive physical tasks, sports games and dance moves. This not only contributed to the development of children’s physical abilities, but also created an atmosphere of joy and active leisure.

It is especially important that such initiatives allow the department’s graduates to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired during their studies. Teachers and students demonstrate a high level of training, in particular in such disciplines as “Organisation of Physical Education” and “Outdoor and recreational games”. This proves their ability to effectively organise activities aimed at improving the physical and emotional well-being of children, emphasising the importance of physical rehabilitation in the educational and social context.

Such initiatives once again emphasise the importance of cooperation between the university and rehabilitation institutions in creating innovative approaches to working with children aimed at their integration into society and supporting their harmonious development.
