“Peace in digital time”: the results of the project were presented at the Forum in Kyiv
In August-December 2021 in the Chernihiv region NGO “Center for Gender Education” and NU “Chernihiv Polytechnic” was actively implementing a human rights program to expand opportunities to restore understanding for community leaders in Ukraine “Path to Peace in the Digital Age”. The partners of the University in the implementation of the program were the NGO “Human Rights Foundation”, the NGO “Center for Gender Education”, the Institute for International Cultural Relations (IFA) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany.
On December 4-5, representatives of the NGO “Center for Gender Education” – project coordinator in the Chernihiv region, Head of the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences Natalia Shakun, project volunteer Assoc. Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences Olena Gerasimenko, Ambassador of the project Assoc. Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional Law Alla Nitchenko, Ambassador of the project Assoc. Yulia Peretyatko, Department of Accounting, Taxation and Audit – took part in the Interim Forum of the project “Peace in Digital Time”, held by the NGO “Human Rights Foundation” in Kyiv.
The event summed up the implementation of the program in 10 regions of Ukraine: Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Luhansk, Kirovohrad, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv and Chernivtsi regions. The two-day Forum discussed the possibility of creating a training course on peacekeeping, prospects for the project next year. Representatives of the NGO “Center for Gender Education” presented the Code of Ethics for Bloggers, created by active participants in project activities that took place during September-November at the National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic”.
Youth leaders, representatives of local self-government bodies, public activists, journalists will have the opportunity to discuss the results of the first stage of the project at a round table to be held at Chernihiv Polytechnic National University on December 9, 2021.
