Participation of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University in the XIV Civil Society Forum

On 5 December 2025, representatives of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University — Head of the Department of Law Enforcement and General Legal Disciplines Olena KOZYNETS and Associate Professor of the same department, Head of the Centre for Gender Education at Chernihiv Polytechnic National University Alla NITCHENKO — took part in the XIV Civil Society Forum, which was held at the Mystetskyi Arsenal in Kyiv.

The forum traditionally brought together leaders of public organisations, representatives of educational institutions, state institutions, the media and donor organisations. Participants had the opportunity to join panel discussions, thematic sections and workshops dedicated to community resilience, the role of youth, the development of social services, international advocacy, cultural practices and innovative approaches in the activities of the public sector. Particular attention was paid to issues of partnership, implementing change in wartime conditions, and supporting veterans.

This year’s Forum once again provided a space for meaningful dialogue, exchange of experience, and the formation of joint decisions in response to the challenges facing Ukraine. Key trends in the development of civil society, tools for influencing public policy, and the role of communities in ensuring sustainability and security were discussed. The Forum is an opportunity not only to share one’s own experience, but also to hear the strong voices of colleagues from all over Ukraine, to feel the power of our joint work and to gain new inspiration for further initiatives.

Chernihiv Polytechnic National University will continue to develop cooperation with civil society, integrating modern practices, innovations and partnership approaches into its work with the student community and local communities.
