Participation in the UNECE Resource Management Week 2025 events

Kateryna Hnedina, сoordinator of startup development, innovation and project-based learning, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Accounting and Taxation, took part in the online events of the UNECE ‘Resource Management Week 2025’, organised by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and held on 24-28 March in a mixed format.

The events of the ‘Resource Management Week 2025’ included presentations by leading speakers from different countries on the integration of sustainable practices in the field of resource governance, application of the UN Framework Classification for Resources (UNFC) and the UN Resource Management System (UNRMS), development of innovative solutions, technological achievements and best practices in resource governance, innovations in the field of hydrogen energy, the impact of diversity, skills and leadership on innovation, etc.

In particular, within the framework of the event, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Hnedina K. joined the XVI session of the Expert Group on Resource Management (EGRM-16) and the online workshop on hydrogen energy on ‘Promoting the sustainable development of the hydrogen market’.

The event became a platform for sharing best practices in developing sustainable resource management strategies and ensuring sustainable development.
