Participation in the European Green Academy 2024 (Brussels, Belgium)
Kateryna Hnedina, coordinator of startup development, innovation and project-based learning, passed the competitive selection and was invited to participate in the European Green Academy 2024, which was organised by the Green European Foundation and held in Brussels from 22 to 24 November 2024 in a mixed format.
The event brought together stakeholders from across Europe (representatives of government, NGOs, academics, innovators, community leaders and activists) to discuss such topical issues as the European Green Deal, democracy, peace, security and social well-being.
Participants of the European Green Academy 2024 received valuable information from key speakers in various fields. In particular, the following issues were discussed: the future of the EU in the context of the European Green Deal, the role of green innovations, clean technologies and their impact on social justice; analysis of current challenges to democracy and opportunities for its improvement; consideration of international conflicts and strategies for ensuring peace and security in Europe; the importance of human rights protection, etc.
