Our student, Ksenia Golovchenko, of the specialty 121 Software Engineering, successfully completed the study program in the United States of America. At the University of Missouri in Springfield, she acquired knowledge during January-May 2023. The study took place within the framework of the Global UGRAD – international student exchange program.

We convey first-hand impressions:

«Hi. My name is Kseniia Holovchenko. I am an exchange student, a participant in the Global UGRAD program. I studied in the US at Missouri State University.

My exchange semester was a fantastic experience! I made a lot of effort to have this opportunity, and it was definitely worth it. It is a completely different world with great people and a lot of diversity. I travelled around the US, gained new knowledge and experience. The professors were exceptionally knowledgeable, and the academic challenges were truly engaging. What made it even more memorable were the diverse friendships I formed with people from around the world. We explored the country, engaged in thought-provoking discussions, and had an amazing time together.

The campus buzzed with activities, from clubs to events, a lot of things exactly like from American movies. Big houses for fraternities and sororities, parties, students going to the university in pajamas. I was actively involved in a huge amount of these things. The local community was incredibly welcoming; even strangers on the street always had a smile. I met a lot of amazing people from different parts of the world, and they became my close friends who always happy to see me in their countries.

My American exchange semester was an enriching journey that helped me grow as an individual, provided unforgettable memories, and gave me a sense of having a second home abroad. I’m grateful for this remarkable experience!»
