Opportunities and results for Ukraine Project CA 21107 “DIGI-net: Networking Digital Transformation Competences”
The European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) is a leading European intergovernmental programme that has been supporting international cooperation between scientists and innovators from various fields since 1971. The aim of COST is to create an open scientific network to share knowledge, enhance scientific capacity and promote technological innovation in Europe and beyond. COST is funded by the European Union under the Horizon Europe programme, which supports hundreds of research projects and brings together researchers from more than 40 countries, including partner countries such as Ukraine.
One of the COST projects is CA 21107 “DIGI-net: Networking Digital Transformation Competences” aimed at developing digital competences. The DIGI-net network brings together experts from different countries, including Ukraine, to share knowledge, develop digital transformation strategies and support innovation in various fields. Ukraine has a significant potential in the field of digital technologies, and participation in COST projects, in particular CA 21107, contributes to this:
- Strengthening international cooperation of Ukrainian scientists and specialists in the field of digitalisation;
- Access to cutting-edge research and opportunities to participate in international consortia;
- Support for digital initiatives in education, business and public administration;
- Expanding academic and professional contacts through DIGI-net working groups and scientific events.
Within the COST CA 21107 project, Ukrainian scientists can: participate in working groups and case studies; receive grant support for short-term scientific missions (STSMs); attend international conferences and trainings; publish research results in cooperation with European colleagues.
