Opening of the Startup School ‘Startup – Way to Success-2025’ at the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University

On 15 April 2025, the ‘Startup – Way to Success’ startup school, implemented within the framework of the WIN2EDIH project (Digital Europe programme), was officially opened at the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University.

Vice-Rector for Scientific Work, PhD, Associate Professor Prystupa Anatolii addressed the participants of the school with a welcoming speech and wished them fruitful teamwork on the way to a successful startup.

About 50 participants joined the first interactive lecture, conducted by Kateryna Hnedina, coordinator of startup development, innovation and project-based learning, PhD in Economics, including students of general secondary education institutions, students, teachers, scientists and innovators from the Chernihiv region.

During the first lesson, the participants learnt the basics of creating startups, discussed innovative ideas and received a motivational boost to continue working on their own projects. The participants of the startup school will take part in an intensive programme (creating a business model, developing soft skills for startup management, using digital tools to present a startup, teamwork and pitching project ideas), working with coaches and mentors of the startup school.
