On January 8, 2025, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, represented by Rector Oleh Novomlynets, and the Horodnia City Council, represented by Mayor Andrii Bohdan.

The memorandum provides for a number of areas of cooperation, including joint educational and scientific events, participation of students and teachers in research and project development, organisation of dual education for students, as well as support in information campaigns and public events.

The memorandum also envisages cooperation in organising internships, training and professional development for employees, as well as facilitating the employment of students and graduates of the university.

Both parties expressed their hope for fruitful cooperation and readiness to implement joint initiatives that will contribute to the development of education, science and vocational training in the Chernihiv region.
