On 20 November 2024, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University and the NGO “League of Business and Professional Women of Ukraine”.

The purpose of this Memorandum is to promote the socio-economic development of communities, create conditions for the development of micro, small and medium-sized businesses by combining the efforts and resources of the Organisation and the Community.

Rector of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University Oleh Novomlynets made an opening speech. He emphasised the importance of combining scientific and practical potential to support entrepreneurship and thanked Yulia Zaika, Head of the NGO “League of Business and Professional Women of Ukraine”, for her initiative and active public position.

In her speech, Yulia Zaika noted that cooperation with the university would allow young people to be involved in the implementation of innovative business projects, help develop their leadership potential and build their professional skills.

Areas and forms of cooperation:

• – Development of effective strategies for the restoration and development of territories and communities. Formation of an expert team to develop and implement these strategies. Collecting analytical data on the status and capacity of communities.
• – Formation of a favourable business environment as a basis for economic capacity and community development.
• – Participation of the Parties’ representatives in joint discussions, exchange of views and information on problematic issues, drafting of documents, presentations, roundtables, and training seminars aimed at achieving the objectives of this Memorandum.
