The UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network has been operating since 2012 under the auspices of the UN Secretary General. They mobilize global scientific and technological expertise to advance practical solutions for sustainable development, including the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Climate Agreement.

On March 30, 2023, an online meeting was organized to discuss and understand the needs of Ukrainian higher education institutions and the possibilities of European organizations in terms of funding research, exchange programs, etc.

Chernihiv Polytechnic National University was invited to join the SDSN Black Sea network.
