On March 20, 2024, a meeting was held with the delegation of the Republic of Latvia.

The director of the fund Laura Skrodele and representatives of the delegation of the Republic of Latvia – Aleksandrs Holmanovs, military attaché, and Ilgvars Klyava, ambassador of the Republic of Latvia to Ukraine, visited the Chernihiv Polytechnic University.

During the meeting, a ceremony was held to sign an agreement on financing the reconstruction of the university with the “Entrepreneurs for Peace” foundation. The presence of representatives of the Republic of Latvia at the signing ceremony shows international support and recognition of the importance of restoring educational institutions in the city of Chernihiv.

On the same day, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Ilgvars Klyava, delivered a guest lecture to the teachers and students of higher education at Chernihiv Polytechnic University and answered the questions of those present.
