Meeting of the Interdepartmental Council on Family, Gender Equality, Prevention and Combating Domestic Violence and Combating Human Trafficking

On May 25, 2023, Anna Chepurna, head of the Center for Gender Education of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, participated in the meeting of the Interdepartmental Council on Family, Gender Equality, Prevention and Counteraction of Domestic Violence and Combating Human Trafficking. Hanna Chepurna spoke as a speaker on the issue “On the participation of civil society institutions in the implementation of measures to provide assistance to victims, post-conflict rehabilitation of women and girls within the framework of the localization of the National Action Plan for the Implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 “Women, Peace, Security” for the period until 2025 in Chernihiv region”. The participants of these meetings were familiarized with the directions of work of the CSO ” Chernihiv Polytechnic National University “, the peculiarities of the organization of the CSO’s activities in the conditions of a full-scale war, the implementation of the center’s project activities, etc. A lively discussion of the participants of the Interdepartmental Council was caused by the study of the findings of the CSO study on the characteristics of the manifestation of gender tolerance among student youth in wartime conditions.
