Lecturers of the Department of Architecture and Design presented approaches to training accessibility specialists during a briefing at RMA

Representatives of the Department of Architecture and Design of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University: Head of the Department Olena Savchenko, Associate Professor Yuliia Shabardina, and Senior Lecturer Olha Havryk took part in a professional briefing at the media center of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration.

During the meeting with Serhii Kurennyi, Head of the Department of Urban Development and Architecture of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, issues of building an inclusive environment in the region and overcoming the shortage of qualified personnel in communities were discussed.

Responding to the communities’ need for accessibility specialists, Chernihiv Polytechnic National University is actively implementing barrier-free principles into the educational process and developing a specialized training domain.

The participation of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University scientists in the briefing confirmed the university’s readiness to provide scientific and methodical support and train qualified personnel to create a safe and convenient environment in the communities of the Chernihiv region.
