From May 15 to 18, 2024, the team members of the “TURBO” project took part in training sessions and workshops at Kozminski University (Warsaw, Poland).

The internship program “Capacity Building and Competence Improving for Ukrainian Universities”, conducted within the project TURBO-ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE “The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises”, was completed by:

  • Volodymyr Bazylyevych, Head of the Department of Information and Computer Systems;
  • Dmytro Mekhed, Associate Professor of the Department of Cybersecurity and Mathematical Modeling;
  • Anna Verbytska, Head of the Department of Marketing, PR Technologies, and Logistics;
  • Nadiia Nahorna, Dean of the Faculty of Social Technologies, Health and Rehabilitation.

As part of the TURBO project’s educational module, intensive working sessions were held, bringing together representatives of seven Ukrainian partner universities. Experts from Nord University (Norway) and Kozminski University (Poland) presented modern approaches to strategic management in higher education institutions. Their expertise covered adapting universities to new challenges, minimizing risks of future crises, and building systems of internal resilience.

Participants explored practices of international accreditation, the internationalization of educational programs and research activities, as well as effective approaches to human resource management that foster the professional growth of teaching teams.

During a series of training sessions with Polish experts, participants worked jointly on practical solutions aimed at strengthening stakeholder engagement within the university environment. A workshop based on the Gallup methodology introduced contemporary approaches to team building, focusing on the strengths and individual characteristics of each member.

The program concluded with team presentations by universities, where development strategies were proposed in line with current challenges and the objectives of the project.
