As part of the pilot phase of the project “Partnership for the Sustainable Recovery of Ukraine”, the head of the Department of Accounting, Taxation and Audit, Professor Zhanna Derii, in July 24 – 29, 2023, was on an internship in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.

The internship organizers – the Nadace Partnerství foundation and the regional leadership. During the internship, there were a number of meetings with representatives of business, local self-government, familiarization with practices of energy saving and use of alternative energy sources, green development of cities and counteraction to climate change, waste management, development of rural communities and sustainable environmental management.

The acquired experience and cooperation with the Czech Republic will be useful in matters of green reconstruction of our country, our city and our University.

The final phase of the internship was a round table with the governor of the South Moravian region, representatives of business, public organizations and foundations, the press. The governor proposed to create a “Fair of Investment Proposals for Ukraine and its Regions” with the involvement of Switzerland and Poland, where Ukrainian partners of the project will be able to participate.

In addition, the implementation of joint projects in the field of restoration and reconstruction, in which our University can be involved, are being initiated.
