The UniRank web portal, which presents a non-academic ranking of the world’s universities based on the popularity of their official websites, has published another ranking. According to the UniRank rating as of October 2023, Chernihiv Polytechnic National University is ranked 50th (among 194 higher education institutions of Ukraine), confirming its membership in the top 50 universities of Ukraine.

For reference: uniRank University Ranking, formerly known as 4ICU, positions itself as a non-academic ranking that examines the quality of representation and popularity of universities in the Internet space based on independent webometric indicators collected from authoritative sources (Moz, Majestic, SimilarWeb and Amazon Alexa). The authors of the rating note that this approach is designed to help students, teachers and scientists assess the general popularity of the university. The ranking has been carried out since 2005 on the basis of webometric data. The purpose of uniRank University™ is to present a ranking of the popularity of the world’s universities and colleges, based on the popularity of their websites in terms of traffic, trust and quality of link popularity. This should help international students and researchers understand how popular a particular university or college is in a foreign country.
