Graduation of the Women’s Leadership Academy
On 15 February, the participants of the Women’s Leadership Academy project graduated in Chernihiv. The programme, which aims to develop leadership skills and strengthen the role of young women in society, has come to an end for 20 inspired graduates who are ready for new challenges and opportunities.
During their studies, the participants attended trainings and workshops, had a personal photo shoot and were involved in a mentoring forum. All these activities helped them not only to gain new knowledge but also to determine their own development path. It is worth noting that among the graduates of the Women’s Leadership Academy were students and graduates of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University who prepared their own social and business projects.
“We are proud of our students, their motivation, courage and willingness to change themselves and the world around them. Such initiatives form a new generation of leaders who create the future,” Olha Melnyk, Vice-Rector of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University and Head of the NGO “Centre for Gender Education”, addressed the graduates of the Women’s Leadership Academy. She expressed her gratitude to the participants and organisers of the project, noting their activity, perseverance and desire for development.
At the graduation event, the participants presented the results of their work, shared their achievements, and received gifts from their partners. The graduation ceremony was not only the final point of the training, but also a symbolic beginning of a new stage in the participants’ lives – a stage of bold decisions, self-realisation and leadership.
