First kick-off online meeting within the ERASMUS+ KA2 TeDiMeLi project
On 28 October 2025, the first kick-off online meeting was held as part of the international ERASMUS+ KA2 TeDiMeLi project ‘Teaching Digital Media Literacy in Times of Societal Change in Ukraine’. The meeting was organisational in nature and aimed to agree on common approaches to the implementation of the project, establish effective communication between participants and identify priority tasks.
The TeDiMeLi project consortium consists of Technische Universität Dresden (Germany; coordinator), the University of Innsbruck (Austria), Chernihiv Polytechnic National University (Ukraine), Cherkasy State Technological University (Ukraine), Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University (Ukraine) and Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University (Ukraine)
During the kick-off meeting, Ms Christina Spirow (Technische Universität Dresden, Germany) presented key facts about the TeDiMeLi project: its purpose, structure, expected results and target audience. Special attention was paid to the contractual relations between the partners. The participants clarified the main provisions of the partnership agreement, the rights and obligations of each party, as well as the mechanisms of cooperation in the administrative and financial spheres. It was emphasised that cooperation would be based on the principles of transparency, accountability and mutual support. The partners agreed on the key stages of project implementation and the schedule for preparing reporting documentation, in particular interim and final reports, as well as the requirements for their preparation in accordance with European Union standards.
An important topic was the organisation of the budget and the execution of payments. The meeting participants received explanations regarding the rules for the use of funds, their intended purpose, financial control procedures and confirmation of expenses. Emphasis was placed on the need to maintain clear documentation and ensure that all financial transactions comply with the provisions of the grant agreement. The Lump Sum approach, which provides for funding based on fixed amounts based on the results of specific stages of work, was analysed separately. This approach allows for more efficient project administration and reduces the bureaucratic burden on partners.
A separate segment of the meeting was devoted to issues of visual identity. Participants received recommendations on the correct use of European Union logos in all documents, publications and information materials related to the project.
The TeDiMeLi project is co-funded by the European Union, but the views and opinions expressed are those of the authors of this project and do not necessarily reflect the views of the European Union or the European Education and Culture Executive Agency. Neither the European Union nor the grant provider can be held responsible for them.
