Entrepreneurship as a Tool for Change: Workshop on Launching Your Own Business with Wooden Page Founder Svitlana Baranova

As part of the workshop series on starting one’s own business for participants of the TURBO educational program for the development of small and medium-sized businesses, implemented in partnership with the NGO “Chernihiv European,” an inspiring session was held with Svitlana Baranova, founder of the Wooden Page brand — a creative enterprise specializing in gift products, custom décor, and wooden furniture.

Svitlana Baranova shared her journey of establishing her business, discussing the challenges encountered, the importance of personal motivation, adaptability, and flexible planning. Participants learned about organizing production processes, customer support, product promotion, and building a personal brand. A lively discussion highlighted opportunities to combine aesthetics, functionality, and social purpose within a business.

The meeting served as a practical component of the program, aimed at developing entrepreneurial skills, critical thinking, and understanding the local market. Launching one’s own business is not only about profit but also about values, meaning, and transforming the environment.
