Entrepreneurial Workshop by “Wooden Page” Founder Svitlana Baranova for Participants of the Micro-Credit Educational Program “TURBO”
On October 31, as part of the business practice of the micro-credit educational program for retraining and social adaptation of internally displaced persons within the framework of the “TURBO” project, an entrepreneurial workshop was held by Svitlana Baranova, founder of the local brand “Wooden Page.”
The meeting aimed to inspire participants to take their first steps in entrepreneurship and to demonstrate how an idea can grow into a successful business. The speaker shared her personal story of founding the brand and offered motivational advice on overcoming inner barriers, finding resources, and building confidence—factors often decisive for launching a business. Svitlana Baranova also presented practical insights into marketing and sales, emphasizing the importance of defining a target audience, presenting a product online, and engaging effectively with clients through social media.
Meetings with entrepreneurs within the project “TURBO: The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions – Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises” help participants develop entrepreneurial thinking, identify new self-employment opportunities, and strengthen resilience in realizing their business ideas. The series of workshops within the business practice is organized in partnership with the NGO “Chernihiv European.”
The TURBO project “The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises” aims to increase the resilience, preparedness and responsiveness of Ukrainian higher education institutions (HEIs) by building their capacities, improving competencies and sharing experiences.
