EIT Health’s Creating ValEU international innovation programme

Start-up, innovation and project-based learning development coordinator at Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, co-founder of the Ukrainian healthtech start-up “Insulin Without Queues”, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Hnedina Kateryna successfully passed the selection process and became a participant in the international innovation programme Creating ValEU from EIT Health in partnership with Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Participation in the programme provided an opportunity to gain up-to-date knowledge of innovation management and value-based approaches in healthcare, as well as to master tools for developing and evaluating business models in the field of medical innovation technologies. The training combined online modules and practical workshops with leading European universities and partner organisations, and included teamwork on the development of innovative products.

The programme is implemented in partnership with universities and institutions, including TU Delft, Universidade de Coimbra, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, The Collaborating Centre for Values-based Practice, and with the support of innovation centres and communities, including DEX Innovation Centre and Smash Medicine.

The experience gained will contribute to the implementation of modern approaches to creating innovative solutions and the dissemination of knowledge among innovators at Chernihiv Polytechnic National University.
