Digital Classroom on Food Policy

On September 25-26, 2023, students of the specialty 181 “Food Technologies” joined the Digital Classroom on Food Policy, organized by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. The participants listened to the lectures held by Massimo Busuoli – Head of NTNU Brussels Office, Sandrine AMSLER – EC DG SANTE Member of the Farm to Fork Strategy Unit, Laurent BONTOUX– Senior Foresight for Policy Expert at European Commission Joint Research Centre, Paolo PATRUNO – CLITRAVI (Liaison Centre for the Meat Processing Industry in the European Union) Deputy Secretary General and a number of other experts on food policy in the EU and Norway.

In addition, Iryna Seroshtan, guest lecturer of the Department of Food Technology and Ecology, director of the Chernihiv Regional State Laboratory of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, gave a lecture to Norwegian and Ukrainian students on the topic “Safe and high-quality food products – a guarantee of the nation’s health”.
