On 10 October, students of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University had a unique opportunity to attend a guest lecture by Ivan Rudyi, Head of the Commission for Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries.

The topic of the lecture: “Culture of responsible gambling: Gambling is just entertainment, not a way to make money” was aimed at raising awareness among young people about responsible gambling.

During his speech, Ivan Rudyi stressed the importance of understanding that gambling is a form of entertainment, not a financial instrument. He focused on the risks associated with uncontrolled gambling and stressed the need to adhere to the principles of responsible gambling.

The meeting aroused keen interest among the students, who actively asked questions about the legal aspects of gambling regulation in Ukraine, as well as social issues related to gambling addiction. The lecture made an important contribution to the development of responsible behaviour among young people and helped them better understand how to avoid the risks associated with gambling.

This event is part of a broader educational initiative of the university aimed at informing students about important social and economic aspects of modern society.
