Chernihiv Polytechnic National University continues its fruitful cooperation with the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture of Chernihiv Regional State Administration in accordance with the signed memorandum of cooperation.

As part of the implementation of the project ‘Barrier-free routes’, a working meeting was held with the participation of representatives of the university, the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture, and the head of the Olyshivka community. The participants discussed the first steps in implementing the project, outlined the main tasks and defined the scope of work. In particular, the initial measurement work has already been carried out.

The aim of the project is to create a comfortable, accessible environment in settlements for all residents, including people with limited mobility. The initiative is aimed at ensuring independent movement within the community, access to infrastructure, comfortable living, and promoting social integration and equality in the use of urban spaces.

Specialists of the Department of Welding and Construction Technologies and the Department of Architecture and Design of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University are actively involved in the implementation of the solutions. Their experience and professional approach contribute to the effective implementation of the project’s objectives in practice.

The cooperation is ongoing, and we are confident that our joint efforts will yield significant results in creating a barrier-free environment in the region
