The goal of the Contest is to popularize the creative heritage of T. Shevchenko, actualization of the memory of the Kobzar and his role in laying the spiritual foundations of the Ukrainian nation, affirmation of the moral and ethical precepts of the artist as an important factor in the consolidation of society, national and patriotic education of secondary, vocational and higher education students, preservation and development of the intellectual potential of Ukraine, support and stimulation of talented youth and creative work of teachers.
