Congratulations to Semystrok Viktoriia, first-year student, specialty – 035 “Philology”, on winning the regional (third stage) of the XXV Petro Yatsyk International Ukrainian Language Competition, who took the honourable third place.

The aim of the contest is to promote the Ukrainian language as the state language, raise its prestige, and foster respect for the language of their people, their culture and traditions among the younger generation of Ukrainians.

The third stage of the XXV Petro Yatsyk International Ukrainian Language Competition was attended by representatives of pupils and students from the Chernihiv region. A highly qualified jury determined the three leaders. The winners of the regional stage will represent Chernihiv region at the All-Ukrainian stage of the competition.

We sincerely congratulate our student and her scientific mentor (Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences Iryna Kovalova), and wish them further success and new victories!
