On June 4, 2025, a Hackathon on automation and electrification of technological processes was held in Kyiv, which was conducted by the representative office of the French company Schneider Electric Ukraine.

Teams from 15 Ukrainian universities took part in the Hackathon.

Chernihiv Polytechnic was represented by students: Yevhen Skachok (specialty 141 – Electric Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics), Nikita Tkachenko (specialty 141 – Electric Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics) and Vladislav Parkhomets (specialty 171 – Electronics). The team leader is Vyacheslav Bezruchko, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Electrical Power Engineering and Information and Measurement Technologies. Our team finish in fourth place.
