Chernihiv Polytechnic National University took part in the kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ SEDWU international project at the University of Bayreuth

On 15–16 December 2025, representatives of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University took part in the (Kick-off) meeting of the Erasmus+ Scalable Electronic Document Workflow for Universities: Enhancing Efficiency, Autonomy and European Integration (SEDWU), which took place at the University of Bayreuth (Germany).

The SEDWU project aims to create and implement scalable electronic document management systems for universities in order to improve management efficiency, institutional autonomy and strengthen European integration of institutions.

The following representatives of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University took part in the event:

  • Anatolii Prystupa, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work;
  • Volodymyr Bazylevych, Director of the Educational-Scientific Institute of Electronic and Information Technologies.

During the first day of the meeting, participants familiarised themselves with the concept, objectives and structure of the SEDWU project, and presented their universities’ experience in the field of electronic document management and digital transformation of management processes.

Representatives of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University joined the partner presentations and discussions on key areas of project implementation. The second day was devoted to project management issues, administrative and financial procedures, the distribution of roles among partners, the coordination of the timeline for the implementation of work packages, and the use of common templates and approaches to reporting.

Particular attention was paid to establishing communication and cooperation between the universities participating in the consortium.

The participation of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University in the kick-off meeting of the SEDWU project was an important step in the development of the university’s digital transformation, improvement of the document management system, and strengthening of international cooperation within the Erasmus+ programmes.
