Chernihiv Polytechnic National University has unveiled its Innovation Strategy
Chernihiv Polytechnic National University has unveiled its Innovation Strategy – a document developed by the PPV Economic Development Agency as part of the EU4Innovation East project, in close collaboration with the university’s team.
Work on the Strategy included an analytical phase, interviews and a series of strategic discussions involving the university’s management, representatives of the academic community and relevant university departments.
The presentation was attended by the Rector of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, representatives of Expertise France, experts from the PPV Economic Development Agency, as well as representatives of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration and Chernihiv City Council. During the presentation, the university rector confirmed the readiness of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University to continue working on strengthening its innovation capacity, developing partnerships and consolidating the university’s role in the regional innovation ecosystem.
The innovation strategy outlines approaches to strengthening the university’s innovation capacity, developing collaboration between education, science, business and regional partners, and identifies priority areas for future work.
Key areas include the development of institutional mechanisms to support innovation, strengthening the role of the ‘Peremoha’ centre as a space for developing innovative initiatives and cross-sectoral collaboration, as well as a focus on areas vital to the future development of the university and the region.
The development of the Innovation Strategy has become one of the key outcomes of cooperation within the EU4Innovation East project, aimed at strengthening the innovation potential of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University and its role in the development of the regional innovation ecosystem.
The Strategy was developed with the support of the EU4Innovation East project, which is funded by the European Union, co-financed by the French Government and implemented by Expertise France.
