Certification of the Tutoring and Mentoring Centre within the PROMENT project
As part of the Erasmus+ KA2 PROMENT project, the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University conducted an online certification procedure for the Tutoring and Mentoring Centre. The certification was carried out by an international expert commission, which included representatives of the PROMENT project consortium:
- · University of Aveiro (Aveiro, Portugal);
- · Georgian Technical University (Tbilisi, Georgia);
- · Coaching Academy (Tbilisi, Georgia).
The assessment procedure was based on the criteria approved in the project and included a comprehensive analysis of the activities of the Tutoring and Mentoring Centre in 2024-2025. In particular, the following parameters were evaluated: institutional integration of the Tutoring and Mentoring Centre into the university structure, regulatory and organisational support; staffing and distribution of functional responsibilities; design and implementation of tutoring and mentoring programmes; approaches used to train and support tutors and mentors; mechanism for monitoring, quality assessment and feedback from participants in tutoring and mentoring programmes; ensuring the sustainability and further development of the Tutoring and Mentoring Centre after the completion of the PROMENT project
Based on the certification results, the Tutoring and Mentoring Centre of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University received the highest marks for all criteria defined by the certification procedure. The results confirm that the activities of the Tutoring and Mentoring Centre comply with the approaches and quality standards implemented within the international PROMENT project, as well as the university’s ability to ensure the systematic development of tutoring and mentoring as effective tools for supporting higher education students in the modern educational environment.
We would like to thank everyone who participated in the certification procedure and the implementation of tutoring and mentoring programmes at the university. This is our common victory!
