Blog Cafe “Nonviolent Communication and Dialogue in Communities”

On September 10, within the framework of the “Together We Can” program, a blog cafe was held dedicated to the topic of nonviolent communication and dialogue as an important tool for building trust and cooperation.

The purpose of the event was to discuss practical methods of effective dialogue, develop skills for resolving conflicts without the use of violence, and understand how communication can become an effective tool for peace and unity in communities.

Participants had the opportunity to learn more about the principles of nonviolent communication and their application in everyday life. Special attention was paid to the art of hearing and being heard, building trust in the community, and considering conflict as a point of growth. They also discussed how dialogue in communities contributes to strengthening social unity and studied successful examples of implementing nonviolent practices in Ukrainian realities.

The moderator of the event was Oksana Shuba, a student of the “Philosophy” specialty at the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University and an ambassador of the “Together We Can” project.

The blog cafe was organized by the NGO “Center for Gender Education” together with the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University.

The atmosphere of the event was relaxed and open, which contributed to a sincere exchange of views and experiences. The participants noted that they received many useful tools for building effective communication and resolving conflict situations.
