A working meeting was held on cooperation between the Tutoring and Mentoring Centre and the ‘ROKADA’ Charitable Foundation
On April 3, 2025, as part of the launch of the second stage of piloting mentoring and tutoring programmes developed within the framework of the international Erasmus+ KA2 PROMENT project “Promoting professional education and students engagement through comprehensive mentoring and tutoring system at HEIs”, a working meeting was held between representatives of the Tutoring and Mentoring Centre of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University and representatives of the charitable organisation ‘Rokada’ Charitable Foundation’.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the prospects for partnership and to agree on a draft Memorandum of Cooperation. The main focus was on identifying common areas of activity, including opportunities to involve specialists from the ‘Rokada’ Charitable Foundation on a volunteer basis to provide mentoring support to students from among internally displaced persons and to hold joint educational events for tutors and mentors
The meeting was attended by:
- Liudmyla REMNOVA, Head of the Department of Personnel Management and Labour Economy at the University, PROMENT project coordinator;
- Alla NITCHENKO, Associate Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement and General Legal Disciplines, coordinator of mentoring for IDP students and tutoring for first-year students;
- Olha YURCHENKO, regional coordinator of the Chernihiv branch of the ‘Rokada’ Charitable Foundation;
- Mariia METELSKA – specialist on interaction with state authorities of the Chernihiv branch of the ‘Rokada’ Charitable Foundation.
As a result of the meeting, the parties expressed interest in establishing a long-term partnership to strengthen mentoring support for students, in particular those in vulnerable circumstances.
