Project title: Social Entrepreneurs Exchange Development – Building Resilient and Innovative Digital and Green Enterprises

Project acronym: SEEDbridge

Project ID: 101197344

Project duration: 01 February 2025 – 31 January 2028

Program: Single Market Programme (SMP)

Project objective: SEEDbridge will draw on the lessons learned from previous EYE cycles with the SEED projects, passing on the know-how and expertise acquired to 2 newcoming organizations (Norway, Turkiye). SEEDbridge aims to act as a bridge between 4 experienced and 2 newcoming IOs, in an effort to spread the program and its values across Europe, contributing to the competitiveness and sustainability of European enterprises across the 6 partner countries: Greece, Spain, Italy, Ukraine, Türkiye, and Norway.

Specific objectives of SEEDbridge are:

  1. To ensure that social, green and digital/tech and female entrepreneurs have opportunities to connect, along with entrepreneurs from other sectors and valorize their skills, opening the path for the cross-fertilization of innovative ideas, aligned with the EU Green Deal and the 17 Global Sustainable Goals;
  2. To ensure that women entrepreneurs have opportunities to take part in EYE and connect with the other target groups;
  3. To provide on-the-job training for NEs in order to support the development of their business ideas and help them overcome typical start-up challenges related to business crisis management, financing, strategy, market access and business support;
  4. To create links between entrepreneurs from underrepresented countries and entrepreneurs from countries with a strong presence in the programme in order to maximize the impact of EYE across borders in a more balanced way. Also, to support displaced Ukrainian entrepreneurs in particular and facilitate their mobilities.
  5. To promote social entrepreneurship – through the target groups of SEEDbridge (social, green, tech/digital entrepreneurs, female) contributing to the EU’s triple transition strategy fostering growth, more jobs, and social inclusion making Europe competitive;
  6. To apply high-quality standards to the recruitment and the relationship-building process to ensure that the programme will be available to the right beneficiaries.
