Colleagues from the Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań are inviting to the lecture by Serhii Plokhi, -a Ukrainian and American historian, professor of the Department of Ukrainian History at Harvard University, where he also holds the position of the Director of the Ukrainian Research Institute at Harvard University. One of the leading specialists in the history of Eastern Europe. Lives and works in the USA.

Serhii Plokhii is the author of more than a dozen books on the history of Ukraine and Eastern Europe. He is a member of the Scientific Council of the Ukrainian Historical Journal. Laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine (2018).
